*All
apprentices in these 3 programs, which are partially subsidized by the
HRD Ministry, are directly recruited and inducted into SIS where they are
assigned directly to the projects for on-the-job training.
Each program curriculum
includes not only theoretical training and on-the-job-training. We have also
incorporated orientation on safety, language course on English, work ethics
and personal improvement and development. This is to ensure that our
trainees are technically competent and can communicate well and work with
the proper mindset, which will give them the edge- more opportunities for
growth development.
Since it's inception in
June 2003, the SIS Training Center has produced 593 graduates who are
inducted into SIS right after their graduation. Our training plan for 2007
is to aggressively recruit 510 trainees for our various programs.
Saudi Arabia has vast
reserve of untapped local manpower waiting to be harnessed and we, in SIS,
believe in the huge potential of the young Saudis. Thus, we commit ourselves
to training them and developing their commitment, as stakeholders, to
contribute and be part of the success of our training programs.
